U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger disclosed that two notorious Rollin' 60s Neighborhood Crips gang members confessed to their racketeering plot involvement. Tyheim Terry, widely known as "Rollin' Ty," 25, and Amir Edmonds, recognized as "G Baby," 22, admitted in Newark federal court before U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton on September 13, 2023.
Apart from the RICO conspiracy, federal officials said Terry conceded to carjacking and brandishing a weapon during the act, while Edmonds acknowledged his intention to circulate fentanyl and cocaine, also confessing to the possession of a firearm to promote a drug crime.

This group is infamously linked to violent acts and controlled substance distribution in New Jersey and beyond.
In 2021, Terry's string of offenses included an attempted carjacking on February 21, a shooting on April 5, and a successful carjacking where he brandished a firearm on April 11. Conversely, Edmonds was found to have collaborated with fellow gang members in distributing drugs. Specifically, on January 7, 2020, Edmonds was caught with intentions to distribute cocaine and fentanyl and was in possession of a firearm, further advancing his drug crime.
Both individuals could face up to 20 years of imprisonment and fines reaching $250,000 for the racketeering conspiracy.
However, the two have separate additional charges that carry their own sentencing consequences.
Terry's firearms offense could add a mandatory seven years to his prison time, running consecutively to any carjacking sentence, and Edmonds faces an additional five years in prison for his drug offense, which would run consecutively to his controlled substance offense.
The court has scheduled the sentencing for Edmonds on January 16, 2024, followed by Terry's on January 17, 2024.
