For the last week, we seriously thought our relatively new refrigerator had to be replaced.
We were really concerned because the warranty just ended!
Whenever we closed the main door, it didn't close unless we pressed the door in and HELD it!
We thought maybe something was sticking out from the shelves, blocking the door to stop the suction from working. We compared it to the freezer door, which worked like new!
We were distraught. The food wasn't staying as cold as long, and much of it was spoiling as a result!
Then, one day, the entire casing fell to the floor while putting a cartoon of milk back on the shelf on the door. It wasn't broken, but it was odd that the piece fell out.
So as a result, the other items fell out of the door's shelving.
We started putting one item back in the palace at a time and then decided to test the suction of the door to see if it changed before putting the milk carton back in. And to our surprise, it did!
It was the large milk cartons that didn't fit. Although they seemed to have fit at first glance if forced, they were too big to go in that section.
Here's the lesson: We thought we might need to replace the entire refrigerator when it was only the milk in the wrong place! It was a lousy arrangement that required a simple fix.
Once we saw what the problem was, our perspective changed!
That's how it is sometimes on this marriedprenuer journey. We may be struggling to
- Scale your business so you doubt it's even worth it, and consider dumping it together.
- Work together with your spouse even though you KNOW that's what you're called to do, but you're second-guessing if it's possible because of your differences.
- Find the time to get it all done so you believe it HAS to be this way because it's always been this way.
The truth is, you may need a new perspective.
It COULD be a faulty arrangement that can be repaired with a different vantage. That's where we come in. If you're a marriedprenuer couple struggling with getting a clear strategy for implementing business systems that scale, automate, and give you our time back, schedule a success-mapping call with us here.
Here's to living purposefully, powerfully, and profitably in sync,
