Police officials in Newark reported the arrest of 19 adults and one juvenile who were being sought for outstanding warrants as part of the Newark Police Division’s Summer Crime Reduction Initiative.
According to Newark Police, from August 30th through August 31st, 2023, the Newark Police Division effected the arrests of the 20 individuals listed below:
- Bonaparte Beauvil, 22, was wanted for an aggravated assault. He was arrested at 31 Green Street.
- Furquan Ahmad, 19, was wanted for aggravated assault and weapon possession. He was arrested at the 300 block of Grove Street, Newark.
- Dylen Perez, 21, was wanted for an aggravated assault, weapon possession, and criminal mischief. He was apprehended at Broad Street in Elizabeth, NJ.
- Avion Ware, 32, was wanted for aggravated assault and criminal mischief and was arrested at Webster Street in Irvington, NJ.
- Dashawn Abney, 21, was wanted for conspiracy, aggravated assault, weapon possession, and criminal mischief. He was arrested at Riverside Court in Newark.
- Nafe Sharif, 19, was wanted for conspiracy, aggravated assault, weapon possession, and criminal mischief. He was arrested at Riverside Mews in Newark.
- Karim White, 20, was wanted for an armed robbery, conspiracy, and weapon possession. He was arrested at the 200 block of Bruce Street in Newark.
- Furad Fleming, 24, was wanted for armed robbery, conspiracy, and weapon possession. He was also arrested at the 200 block of Bruce Street.
- Milagros Sanchez, 21, was wanted for aggravated assault, conspiracy, and weapon possession. She was arrested in Freehold, NJ.
- Antonio Correira, 53, was wanted for carjacking and conspiracy. He was arrested at 31 Green Street in Newark.
- Shadi Davis, 18, was wanted for robbery, conspiracy, weapon possession, and receiving stolen property. He was apprehended at Riverside Court, Newark.
- Alterik Hines, 38, was wanted for aggravated assault and weapon possession. He was arrested at 31 Green Street, Newark.
- Enrique Santiago-Alvarado, 38, was wanted for aggravated assault (shooting) and weapon possession. He was arrested in the 100 block of Garside Avenue, Newark.
- Ali R. Jenkins, 26, was wanted for an aggravated assault, weapon possession, and criminal attempt. He was arrested in the 300 block of Stevens Avenue in Jersey City.
- A 17-year-old, who was wanted for violation of probation, was arrested in Newark’s Central Ward.
- Amar Lewis, 19, was wanted for unlawful possession of a weapon. He was arrested at the 300 block of Sanford Avenue, Newark.
- Rahlik Sandifer, 18, was wanted for receiving stolen property and burglary. He was arrested at the 200 block of N. 6th Street in Newark.
- Nazir Johnson, 18, was wanted for aggravated assault, weapon possession, criminal mischief, and conspiracy. He was arrested at Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Newark.
- Xavion Miller, 18, was wanted for aggravated assault (shooting), weapon possession, and burglary. He was arrested at the 100 block of Fabyan Place, Newark.
- Cosmo Pena, 19, was wanted for theft and conspiracy. He was arrested at the 100 block of South River Street in Hackensack.
Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
