Police in Newark request the public’s help with identifying an individual wanted for questioning about a robbery on August 29, 2023.
According to authorities, police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 8:29 p.m. in the 400 block of Springfield Avenue.
Police say the victim was leaving the Wendy’s fast food restaurant when he was approached by two Black male suspects.
Both men had knives and demanded that the victim give up his personal belongings, which included his food, cel phone, and $4.
According to police, suspect #1 is described as 5’6” with a slim build. He was wearing a dark-colored sweater with a hood, light-colored jeans, and light-colored shoes.
Suspect# 2 is described as 5’6” with a slim build. He was wearing a light-colored sweater with a hood, dark-colored sweatpants, and light-colored shoes.
