Christine E. Schultz, the President of the Passaic County 200 Club, announced the date for the 2023 Passaic County 200 Club Beefsteak Dinner and Tricky Tray and is requesting donations.

“We are pleased to present this year’s annual Beefsteak Honoring First Responders Throughout North Jersey, and will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 6 p.m. at The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ,” she said.

“Your help in making this event a success is greatly appreciated.”

Officials in Passaic County said the Passaic County 200 Club is a group of good-hearted individuals, organizations, and businesses who come together to support the family of first responders who die in the line of duty.

According to officials, President Schultz will hand-deliver a check for $10,000 to these families within 48 hours of the line of duty death.

The Club, which is still in its revitalization phase, will soon be able to provide scholarship opportunities for children of first responders.

Officials say one of its goals is to be able to provide appropriation grants to first responder departments that are in need of equipment and/or technical upgrades.

Also, officials said, the dinner will be honoring Mark Veenema, who has had over 50 years of service as an EMT, Paramedic, and EMS Director (Retired), The 50th anniversary of the Wanaque First Aid Squad, and Terry Ryan of Hanson & Ryan Inc., one of the founders of the PC 200 Club and a former trustee.

Christine E. Schultz, President, is making two requests for the October 24th event:

“We are requesting a donation, gift item, or gift certificate to be included in a tray or, if possible, a larger item to be individually raffled,” she said.

“Keep in mind that any donation is not only for our worthy first responders but also the donation is tax deductible.”

You can donate cash that will be used to purchase tricky tray items by clicking here or, if you want to donate a specific item to be raffled off, email Diane Ohland, Club Administrator, at PC200club@aol.com, officials said.

Tickets are on sale for the October 24 dinner, and pre-ordering tickets is a must since you will not be able to buy them at the door.

“We thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness, and we look forward to seeing you at the Beefsteak dinner on October 24,” said Christine E. Schultz.Ad
