The Mercer County prosecutor's Office was notified of a shooting that left a person severely wounded in Hamilton Township Friday night.
Officers were dispatched to reports of shots fired in the area of 863 South Olden Avenue shortly before 9 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the unidentified victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
The individual was rushed to an area hospital for treatment and is reportedly in critical condition.
Police reported no arrests at this time.
