Police are looking for suspects responsible for stealing a vehicle owned by the Newark School District.
The vehicle taken, sometime during the day Wednesday, was a black Ford Explorer with reported NJ license plate numbers "31518MG.”
According to reports, police spotted the stolen Board of Education vehicle and began chasing the car, which led officers northbound on NJ-21 around 4:40 p.m.
The driver exited the highway and entered Route 3 into Clifton, where Passaic County departments were notified to assist in the incident.
No arrests have been reported.
