Police recovered ballistics from the scene of a shot-fired incident in Newark's West Ward Tuesday night.
At approximately 11 p.m., gunfire rang out in the area of South Orange Avenue and South 9th Street, prompting police to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area for possible victims, but no injuries were reported after police searched the neighborhood.
Newark's Shooting Response Team was called to the area to assist in the investigation.
No arrests have been reported.
