Authorities in Newark reported the police are seeking the public’s help with identifying the suspect, who was captured on surveillance video breaking into an apartment and changing into the victim’s clothes on August 10th.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said police responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 10 a.m. in the 400 block of Mulberry Street.
According to officials, the suspect entered the victim’s apartment through a rear bedroom window.
Once inside, he changed into the victim’s clothes and left through the front door of the building, authorities say.
Officials said he was wearing a black bucket hat, a black All Saints shirt, green army fatigue pants, red and white Jordan sneakers, and a blue Dove backpack.
