Police in Bloomfield swiftly responded to a shoplifting incident at the CVS located at 250 Glenwood Avenue.
On Thursday, August 3rd, police said the incident involved a female suspect who allegedly concealed a significant quantity of Red Bull cans, valued at $150.00, before leaving the store without making any payment.
According to the store manager, the suspect discreetly hid 30-40 cans of Red Bull in her possession before exiting the store premises. Officers were promptly dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report.
Bloomfield Police officials said subsequent investigations led the officers to locate the suspect in close proximity to the store.
The suspect, identified as Ms. Nicole Lee, a 35-year-old resident of Newark, was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
She was transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters for further processing.
