Police in Roselle are investigating the cause of a crash that severely injured a motorcyclist Saturday morning.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Chandler Avenue and E. Street after learning of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, police and EMS found a car and a motorcycle crashed near the intersection, with the rider ejected from the bike.
The unconscious and unresponsive motorcyclist was rushed to University Hospital in Newark for treatment and is in critical condition.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured.
