The requests we've encountered most recently are from married entrepreneurs feeling the pains of leaving money on the table, often due to a lack of the right systems.
We know that feeling all too well!
The unique issue about marriedpreneurs leaving money on the table in business is its immense impact on more than one person. That black hole can adversely affect a legacy in motion.
When you're looking for extra resources to invest in the business only to discover that it was never collected, that hurts.
It's been said that success happens when opportunity and preparation meet. Although opportunity may look different for each of us, preparation often requires the same kind of grit and consistency.
Preparation is defined as:
the action or process of making ready or being made ready for use or consideration.
Consideration is a powerful word. Will the opportunities that come your way consider you?
Preparation requires daily execution. Execution isn't just the external 'doing' or 'making' of things. Often the most powerful kind of execution is in oneself first.
Let's break this down a little further:
One way 'execution' is defined as:
The carrying out or putting into effect a plan, order, or course of action.
Another definition of execution is:
The carrying out a sentence of death
To see the results desired in business, both definitions are needed.
Putting a plan into effect each day requires consistent action in the right direction.
To put that consistent action in place each day, an old 'lesser' version of us must die so the new 'more disciplined' version of us can show up. There is often a silent battle between the two. Each day we have the choice of which one will show up. It always pays to choose the 'greater' version.
Everything changes when both husband and wife are committed to doing this in grace.
