Residents in the Newark and the North Jersey region can expect another beautiful day ahead with sunny skies and a high near 86 degrees.
While Saturday's weather was near perfection, Sunday's humidity will be slightly higher, but it will still be a comfortable day overall.
According to The National Weather Service, the wind is expected to be light and variable in the morning, becoming southward with speeds of 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
I advise you to cherish today's weather, as the National Weather Service forecasts a different start to Monday morning. Showers are likely, and there might even be a possibility of thunderstorms, especially after 2 a.m.
NWS forcasters say clouds will increase, and the low temperature is expected to be around 70 degrees. The south wind will pick up to 7 to 9 mph.
Residents should be prepared for some rainfall on Monday, with a 70% chance of precipitation. Rainfall amounts are projected to be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, with higher amounts possible in areas experiencing thunderstorms.
So, my family and friends in the Newark and North Jersey Region are encouraged to savor this Sunday's delightful weather and plan accordingly for the rainy start on Monday.
