After a months-long search, RLS Media has that law enforcement finally apprehended a juvenile suspect wanted for a violent carjacking at a shopping center in Hudson County.
The juvenile, who also has multiple felonies pending in Newark, was arrested this morning and taken to Kearny Police headquarters for processing before 8 a.m.
The carjacking occurred at the Kearny Shoprite parking lot in February 2022, prompting Kearny Police to seek the public's assistance in identifying the suspect for months.

The suspect was described as a medium dark-haired male wearing a hoodie during the carjacking.
The Newark juvenile resident was positively identified as the suspect by police.
