New Jersey police are actively seeking three missing teenagers who were last seen running into a wooded area near the 2300 block of Atco Avenue in Waterford at approximately 6:45 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the three juvenile females who fled their residence have been identified as Makiya Jackson, Lundynn Colbert, and Zahara Trigg.
The authorities have provided detailed descriptions of their last-known clothing to aid in the search efforts.
According to police, Makiya was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt paired with brown leggings and black flip-flops. Police said Lundynn was last seen donning a white crop top-style shirt along with white and black pajama pants and yellow Crocs.
Police say Zahara's last-known attire consisted of a green t-shirt complemented by green and white shorts.
"The urgency to locate these teenagers is paramount."
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Makiya, Lundynn, or Zahara is urged to contact D/Sgt. Lyons of the Waterford Police or Det. Jordan of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
The police and concerned community members are working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of these missing juveniles.
