The Newark Police Department requests the public's assistance in finding a missing teenager, Essiyah Martin, 13, from Newark.
She was reported missing on Saturday, July 29.
Police say the last known sighting of Essiyah was around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of Chadwick Avenue's 200 block.
She is described as standing 5'5" tall, weighing around 130 pounds, and having a medium brown complexion. She sports a short Afro hairstyle.
Director Fragé urges anyone with any information regarding Essiyah Martin's location to contact the Police Division's Crime Stopper hotline, which operates 24 hours a day.
