A ticket sold in Linden hit Wednesday's Jersey Cash 5 jackpot of more than $1.38 million. The one-week Jersey Cash 5 jackpot drought ended Wednesday night with one lucky winner emerging to capture the $1,388,855 top prize.
A ticket matching all five numbers was sold at St. Georges Family Pharmacy on West St. Georges Avenue in Linden, state lottery officials said today.
The numbers drawn were: 1, 16, 23, 28 and 43.
Wednesday's jackpot was the first to exceed $1 million since Feb. 18. On that day, three winning tickets split a $1,115,801 jackpot.
