A motorcyclist was killed in an early morning crash on a highway in Passaic County Sunday.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 3:35 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1800 block of US-46 in Woodland Park to investigate reports of an injured person.
Emergency responders arrived and found a crashed motorcycle with the driver ejected in the parking lot of the Pizza Hut restaurant.
Medical professionals administered CPR, but the results were unsuccessful. The victim died at the scene.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Officer was notified of the deadly crash and no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
