Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Monday night in Paterson.
At approximately 9 p.m., police were dispatched to an address in the 20's block of Ward Street to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police discovered a male suffering multiple stab wounds at that location.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and remains in serious condition.
Police have not reported an arrest at this time. The motive is under investigation.
