Authorities in Passaic County reported that at approximately 12:09 a.m. Saturday, Paterson Police responded to the area of Seely Street and Parkway on reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officials said officers were unable to locate any victims.
Shortly after, Paterson Police officers were notified that an 18-year-old Paterson resident had arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the initial investigation, the shooting occurred in the area of Market Street and East 18th Street in Paterson.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
