Passaic County law enforcement officials are investigating a shots-fired incident in Hawthorne overnight.
At approximately midnight, police responded to reports of a shooting near 190 Utter Avenue.
When cops arrived, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victims were found after officers canvases the scene.
Authorities believe suspects occupying a dark-colored vehicle fired shots in the area before fleeing the scene towards Paterson.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
