The Union County Prosecutor’s Office, NJ TRANSIT Police, and Plainfield Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing in the area of the Plainfield Train Station yesterday afternoon, Union County Prosecutor William A.Daniel announced today.
Officials said at approximately 2:00pm on Thursday, July 6th, Plainfield Police Officers and NJ Transit Police Officers responded to the Plainfield Train Station on 4th Street and found Juquin Smith, 45, who suffered stab wounds.
He was transported to a local area hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
