Jersey City Police are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a man Tuesday.
The early morning shooting happened just after midnight in the 100 block of Van Wagenen Avenue.
Police found the victim inside a private vehicle suffering a bullet wound to his neck. Officers believe that the victim was being transported to Jersey City Medical Center.
The victim's condition has only been reported as severe, and no arrests have been reported.
Jersey City Police will lead the investigation.
