Authorities in Newark report that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Howard Seeley, 51, of Newark, in connection with a burglary that occurred between Friday, June 23, and Monday, June 26.
According to Newark Police, officers responded to a residential building in the 700 block of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard on a call of a burglary.
Police said workers at the building, returning to work from over the weekend, discovered that the basement had been broken into and several items were stolen, including electrical tools, a Stingray 5-Speed blue bicycle, and custom bike parts.
Detectives investigating this incident identified Seeley as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Seeley is described as 5’11” tall and 160 pounds with a medium complexion, black hair, and brown eyes.
