Police Want to Question Woman About Newark South Ward Shooting

Police in Newark request the public’s help in locating Ms. Carolyn Kelley, 25, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Saturday, June 24. 

According to police, at approximately 11:35 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Leslie Street on a call of shots fired.

Responding officers recovered three spent shell casings in the hallway of the residence. 

Detectives investigating this incident seek Kelley for questioning. She is described as 5-ft. tall with black hair and brown eyes.
