Paterson Police are searching for a suspect who fired multiple shots in one of the city's neighborhoods Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1;17 a.m., Paterson Police Shots Fired Unit was dispatched to the area of 117 Fair Street to investigate reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police located several shell casings and at least one car struck by bullets.
No one was inside the vehicle during the shooting and after cops searched the neighborhood, no victims were found.
Police set up a crime scene in the community where they checked for evidence to support a motive for the shooting.
No arrests have been reported.
