With a humidity level of 90%, NWS forecasters say the air will feel noticeably moist, emphasizing the need to stay hydrated and dress appropriately for the weather.
Around 4 or 5 p.m., the region is expected to experience a resurgence of storms.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely, with a 60% chance of precipitation. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch are predicted, bringing the potential for moderate rainfall.
NWS meteorologists say residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and be prepared for the possibility of localized flooding in low-lying areas.
