Police reported no injuries in a shots fired incident in Newark's South Ward Tuesday night.
It happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the area of Ross and Thorne Streets.
Units rushed to the scene after a ShotSpotter device activated and alerted police of the shooting.
Upon arrival, cops canvassed the scene for victims, but no injuries were reported. Multiple shell casings were found in the neighborhood.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
