In just a few weeks, we will have crossed over to the second half of the year!
(crazy! right?)
When we first started doing annual legacy meetings, we failed miserably the first few years because:
- We always put too much on our plate to accomplish(it wasn't realistic).
- When life 'happened,' we didn't have a system to recalibrate and get 'back in the saddle.
- We got so discouraged (and embarrassed) from not even making it to the second Quarter of the year that we just threw our goals and plans out the window and vowel to start over the next year.
At the beginning of the year, we would be excited about planning for the future, but by the time February/ March hit, we were too discouraged to reset. We felt like failures. We also felt like we were the only ones who struggled to reach our business and life goals together.
It was a mess.
Soon, however, we figured out how to 'trick' ourselves to keep going.
We started to do Quarterly chats.
Although short and a bit unstructured, they were the beginning of what is known today as Quarterly Marriedpreneur Legacy Meetings.
They started with these questions:
✅ What were some marriage wins from this Quarter?
✅ What are areas that we would do differently in our marriage?
✅ What are business wins from this Quarter?
✅ Did we reach our Quarterly goal? If not, why?
✅ What will we do differently in the next Quarter?
✅ How can I better support you as your spouse?
✅ What's a big dream you have for our marriage this year?
✅ What's a big dream you have for our business this year?
✅ How are you feeling emotionally about how life is going?
These are the type of questions we started with. Today, those questions have evolved into the Marriedprenuer Operating Systems Quarterly Legacy Meetings. If you and your spouse want to experience a complete Q3 Legacy Meeting, join us here.
