A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing in Newark's North Ward Sunday morning.
It happened around 121:16 a.m. near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Garside Street.
A preliminary investigation revealed that police and EMS were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash.
When they arrived, they found a damaged bike with the rider ejected and lying on the ground a short distance away.
The severely victim was rushed to University Hospital,l where he remained in critical condition.
The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.
No other injuries were reported and police found no cars involved in the wreck.
