Authorities in Passaic County are investigating a shots-fired incident in a Clifton neighborhood Friday morning.
Details regarding the shooting are pending information from Clifton Police officials, but preliminary reports revealed that at approximately 3:07 a.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of Harding Avenue to investigate shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers reportedly noticed a vehicle speeding from the scene, so they began to follow the car.
The driver entered the Garden State Parkway and led officers on a brief pursuit before being captured near Exit 147. One other person inside the car was taken into custody.
Police are investigating reports that the suspects exchanged gunfire with other individuals during the shooting.
No serious injuries were reported, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
