Residents and some of my friends/family in the Newark, North Jersey region can expect a beautiful morning with clear and dry conditions following a stormy Wednesday evening.
Seniors at Arts High School in Newark successfully obtained beautiful outdoor pictures with family, friends, and classmates, but not before thunder and lightning moved into the area during the early evening hours.
Despite the nasty weather scare, Arts High's 2023 Prom was successful. Thank you, Evelyn Gonzalez, for the beautiful image.
According to the latest weather data provided by the National Weather Service, the humidity stands at 75%, providing a comfortable atmosphere for outdoor activities.
The wind speed is measured at nine mph, blowing from the west, adding a gentle breeze to the air.
The barometer reading is 29.57, indicating stable weather conditions.
As the day progresses, NWS forecasters say the region will experience primarily sunny skies, creating a pleasant environment for residents to enjoy. The temperature is expected to reach a high near 80 degrees, providing ideal conditions for outdoor endeavors.
A west wind blowing at 8 to 10 mph will contribute to the overall pleasant weather, making it a great day to go for a walk, have a picnic, or engage in other outdoor recreational activities.
The morning sky will be mostly clear, showcasing the beauty of the surrounding area. The storm's aftermath from the previous evening will fade as the sun shines brightly upon Newark and North Jersey.
Enjoy today because NWS forecasters say rain will move in for Friday.
