Kathryn Fragola, a brand new graduate of the Academy of the Holy Angels, is now the newest member of the Fordham University Dance Team.
School officials said Fragola’s signing ceremony was held at her alma mater on June 8.
AHA Head Dance Coach Jenny Sweet, Fordham Dance Coach Stephanie Yonkovich, and Fragola’s parents Virginia and Vito, were on hand to celebrate.
During her four years as a varsity dancer, Fragola helped her team win the Academy’s fifth national title in small varsity hip-hop (2021), two national silver medals in small varsity hip-hop (2020 and 2022), and state titles in pom and hip-hop (2023).
Fragola served as varsity co-captain, a leadership role she shared with Noelle Wacker throughout the 2022-23 season.
This spring, Fragola became a charter member of AHA’s fledgling chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
This Bergenfield resident is also a member of the National Honor Society and the National Latin Honor Society.
