If 'cash is king,' then the content is queen.
Content creation is a significant part of growing a business (in any industry).
This doesn't mean the content-creation process has to take over your life (as it very easily can).
But it's crucial to articulate your expertise in an easily consumable way for your market, which doesn't know you exist yet.
There are countless ways to use content for business growth. We will discuss The platform portion in a future article, but to get started, let's first talk about why content creation is critical for business growth.
- KLT Factor: People buy from those they know, like, and trust (KLT). Content is used as a mode to create the KLT factor that takes a market from cold to warm to hot buyers.
- Expert Positioning: When you know your area of expertise, you can talk about it non-stop. This only puts your message in the expert category and often in the premium category.
- Perfect Your Communication Skills of Your Messaging: The more you use the tool, the sharper it becomes. It doesn't matter if you're podcasting, blogging, Youtubbing, etc. The more content you create, the better you communicate your content in a way that speaks to your dream clients.
- It Goes Beyond You: Your content can be shared between colleagues and friends without you even knowing it. People you may never have met otherwise will learn techniques before working with you. Trust is transferable. So when people share your content, those who receive it often have more trust in you had it not been shared.
These are just a few reasons we are big believers in creating content (even from everyday living so it doesn't HAVE to take as much time and effort. You build according to your capacity.
