According to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service, residents in the Newark and the North Jersey region can expect improving weather conditions Saturday.
NWS meteorologists say today, a 20 percent chance of showers is predicted after 2 pm, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 79 degrees.
The northwest wind is expected to blow between 6 to 10 mph, offering a gentle breeze to cool off during the warmer hours of the day. Humidity levels will be around 67 percent, creating a comfortable atmosphere for outdoor activities.
NWS forecasters say in addition to the pleasant weather, air quality conditions also show signs of improvement.
The barometer reading stands at 29.74, indicating stable atmospheric pressure. This bodes well for the air quality in the region, offering relief to those concerned about pollution levels.
Earlier in the day, from 11 am to 1 pm, the sky will be partly cloudy, adding a touch of variety to the overall weather pattern.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the favorable conditions as the weather improves.
