A driver suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of a carjacking incident in Newark's North Ward Friday night.
Police were called to the vicinity of 86 Bloomfield Avenue to investigate reports of a carjacking in progress around 10: 25 p.m.
Units arrived at the location and found the injured driver, who reported that the suspect exited a white Honda Accord and their black Toyota Camry.
The stolen vehicle had reported NJ license plate number "M84-RKT".
Police believe the driver fled eastbound on Bloomfield Avenue.
