How To Get Your Message To The Masses (For Free) As Marriedpreneurs

New Jersey

By: O.L./Sway Buckley

The first time we landed a media partner was over a decade ago, and we've learned a TON since then!

First off, we learned that not all visibility is good visibility!

Once we got the strategy down, we fund our message to reach the masses through the media (for free). It made us wonder why any business wouldn't consider partnering with an aligned media platform to share its message and offer value.

We've landed T.V. interviews, radio segments, and podcast interviews, and today, we have the privilege of partnering with RLSmedia on a routine basis to get our message of marriage and business strategies to several million homes a month!

It's a win/win partnership.

Marriedpreneur LifeIf you've been wondering how to partner your business with the media and get your message to the masses, here's what you need to be clear on:

  • Know Your Market and Your Message: Don't be afraid to niche down. Your messaging should alienate to resonate. For example, we only work with married entrepreneur couples. That's a part of our requirements.
  • Be clear on the media platform's market: Be sure that there is a synergy that your content will be valuable to their audience. It should be a win/win. There is someone for everyone. Sometimes you must take a creative approach and niche down more to get that clarity. But it will come.
  • Have A Wealth Roles Plan: Visibility without a plan is a good use of visibility. Using wealth roles for your media growth is a powerful tool. Consider who will be responsible for your lead gen tool. What value can you offer the market to invite them into your ecosystem (mailing list or a platform where you control the traffic)? For example, we have a marriedpreneur meeting checklist that we often invite couples to download for free. It's high value, and it's free.

Operating Systems Checklist

  • Create a Content Calendar: It's one thing to pray for visibility; it's another to have the capacity for the answer. Be sure you are diligent about creating content from what you already do! Don't make it complicated and extra laborious. Just use the wisdom that comes naturally to you as material to share with others. It's so much easier that way.
  • Have a System: You'll want a tracking and a follow-up system so things don't slip through the cracks. Consider having a team member (even part-time) support executing the systems so you can consistently show up. For example, multiple people behind the scenes help us show up as our best daily. It doesn't happen by accident. :)
