Police are investigating what caused a person to fall from a balcony in the Upper Clinton Hill section of Newark Thursday night.
Emergency responders were dispatched to an address in the vicinity of 922 South 17th Street after receiving 911 calls reporting an injured person.
Police and EMS arrived and found that the victim had fallen from the balcony of a two-story house at approximately 11 p.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and is reportedly in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
