Hudson County, law enforcement officials are investigating a shooting that involved a security officer in Jersey City Wednesday night.
Exact details into what prompted the shooting is under active investigation. Still, preliminary information indicated that shortly before 10:20 p.m., a security officer was reportedly approached by suspects armed with a weapon on Pavonia Avenue and West Side Avenues.
The officers fired at least one round at the suspects, but no serious injuries were reported.
Jersey City Police arrived at the scene and found a person with a graze wound.
Police released no other further information at this time.
