According to NWS forecasters, rain is expected to taper off by noon, though some scattered drizzle may linger into the afternoon.

The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

East winds will be light, around 3 to 5 mph, which may make it feel slightly cooler than the actual temperature. Therefore, you may want to bring a light jacket or sweater if you plan to spend time outdoors.

According to NWS forecasters, as for Thursday night, the weather will remain mostly cloudy, with a low of around 47 degrees. The wind will shift to the southeast, blowing at a speed of 3 to 6 mph.

The humidity will be around 66 percent, so that the air may feel damp or sticky.

NWS said the barometer reading for the region is 30.19, which indicates that the atmospheric pressure is stable. Officials say no significant storm or front is approaching the area, and the weather is likely to stay mild and calm in the near future.

While the chance of showers may put a damper on your outdoor plans this morning, the rest of the day should be relatively pleasant for late April.

Stay safe and dry, and have a great day!
