Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying one of three suspects who assaulted and robbed a victim on April 19.
According to Police, officers responded to a call about the robbery, which occurred at approximately 10:21 p.m. in the 700 block of Broadway.
Police say three suspects attacked the victim at that location, striking him in the head with a bottle.
When the victim fell to the ground, the suspects rifled through his pockets and took his personal belongings, including a wallet and a cell phone.
Forty minutes after the incident, police identified and arrested two of the suspects - Tyheed Z. Moore, 26, of Newark, and Zamir M. Hawkins, 22, of East Orange. They were charged with robbery, conspiracy, possessing a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and aggravated assault.
The last suspect in the picture below is described as a thin-built Black male with shoulder-length dreads and blonde tips.
He was last seen wearing a blue sweater with a black bubble vest, black pants, and grey/green sneakers.
The individual is known to frequent the housing complex on Grafton Avenue.
