The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating the fatal shooting of a male in the area of 152 Danforth Avenue in Jersey City.
A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately midnight, police responded to reports of shots fired near 152 Danforth Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motive for the shootings is under investigation and no other injuries were reported.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
