Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, marked a historic milestone in its Newark Strong Project.
The Newark South Ward hospital’s new 17,500 square-foot, glass-enclosed lobby is now complete.
The lobby is the most visible element of the expansion that began in 2019 and is transforming the face of the hospital, producing new state-of-the-art medical units, and affirming a commitment to delivering world class care.
Helping to usher in the excellent project was award-winning 90s R&B Singer and Songwriter Faith Evans and Chief Executive Officer Darrell K. Terry, Sr.,
Immediately following singer’s performance for employees in celebration of the completion of the new 17,500 square-foot, glass-enclosed lobby, officials cut the ribbon to open the revitalized lobby.
