One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn, winning the $1,405,135 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, April 20, drawing.
According to NJ Lottery officials, the winning numbers were: 05, 08, 21, 38, and 40, and the XTRA number was: 02.
Officials say the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.
The winning ticket was sold at Krauszer’s, 127 Park Ave., Park Ridge, in Bergen County.
"Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we’re already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize!” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.
