Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

Meteorologist at The National Weather Service said residents in the North Jersey region can expect patchy fog early in the morning before clear skies and a high of 70 degrees today.

While the humidity is at 77%, the wind speed is calm, and the barometer reads 30.11.

According to NWS forecasters, patchy fog is expected to clear up by 7 am, making way for mostly sunny skies throughout the day. With a high near 70, it is expected to be a pleasant day to be outside and enjoy the fresh air.

The light east wind is expected to become southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning, bringing in a light breeze that will keep the temperature mild through the day.

As of 5:15 a.m. in Newark, the temperature is at 53 degrees, and residents should expect temperatures to rise gradually throughout the day.

As always, it is important to keep an eye on the weather forecast and stay informed about any changes or alerts. But for now, North Jersey residents can look forward to a beautiful day ahead.
