Police in Maplewood took three suspects into custody and charged them with attempting to burglarize vehicles in the Township on April 11th.
Officials said Maplewood Police Officers Dolan, and Cruz responded to the area of Brown and Jacoby Street on a report of three juveniles breaking into vehicles.
According to Maplewood Police, offciers arrested a 16-year-old female Juvenile from Newark for Burglary, Criminal Trespassing and Hindering after an investigation on the scene.
Police said two juvenile males were also identified and brought in for 'Safekeeping.'
According to police, all three juveniles were ultimately released to the custody of their family members.
The incident is under investigation.
