Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident that erupted in Newark's South Ward Thursday night.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation that detected ten rounds of gunfire in the area of 294 West Runyon Street.
Detectives collected multiple shell casings, but after searching the neighborhood, no victims were found.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been captured.
Newark Police will handle the investigation.
