Police in Rahway are investigating a person struck by a vehicle near an intersection in the town Saturday.
According to Rahway Police, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers closed West Grand Avenue, between Saint Georges Avenue and Oliver Street, due to a motor vehicle accident.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and found the unidentified victim suffering injuries after a vehicle struck them near Church Street and West Grand Avenue.
Police did not confirm the victim's condition as of late Saturday night.
The incident is under investigation.
