Authorities in Bergen County reported the arrest of Mr. Sean R. Dynan, 34, of Rutherford, NJ, on charges of luring and endangering the welfare of a child.
Officials said in January 2023, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit members engaged in online conversations with SEAN DYNAN, who believed he was communicating with a 14-year-old child.
During the exchanges, officials said Dynan engaged in sexually explicit dialogue and arranged to meet with the purported 14-year-old child for sexual intercourse.
On Wednesday, March 29, officials said Dynan drove to a location in Paramus to meet the purported 14-year-old child, who was actually an undercover detective from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit.
Police arrested Dynan without incident.
He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
