Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body from the Hudson River this afternoon.
According to investigators, the body of a 28-year-old East Brunswick man was recovered about a quarter-mile north of the George Washington Bridge.
The body was transported to the 125th Street pier in Manhattan by the NYPD's Harbor Unit.
Although initial investigation showed no reports of anyone seen jumping from the bridge, a witnessed later told police he witnessed the jump, added police.
